Meet Rena Beyer!
Fostering Greatness was opened in 2016 by Rena Beyer, a psychotherapist (MSW, LCSW) located in Cherry Hill, NJ also offering virtual therapy sessions to clients throughout New Jersey and Delaware. Rena works with people of all ages addressing various therapeutic needs including fertility struggles, trauma, PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidal thoughts, behavioral concerns, relationship struggles, as well as problems related to anger and stress.
Rena has been a licensed psychotherapist since 2013 working in various settings: in-home therapeutic services, therapeutic foster care, residential treatment facilities, public schools, fertility clinics, and private practice. Her background is in both Psychology and Social Work. She has advanced training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and she offers Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) for anxiety, depression, trauma, and/or PTSD. Through these approaches she has had successful outcomes in working with clients to heal from their past and feel like themselves again. Furthermore, Rena works alongside fertility clinics conducting psychological evaluations and providing fertility related counseling services. Rena also offers parenting sessions in order to help parents with positive parenting techniques and she has had successful outcomes in working with parents of toddlers through teens.
Rena was the first psychotherapist on the east coast to provide Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP), as she started working with Ketamine, collaborating with the medical team at Initia Nova, in 2017. Rena is a member of the Board of Directors for the American Society of Ketamine Physicians, Psychotherapists, & Practitioners (ASKP3) and created the Therapist Advisory Panel committee through ASKP3, which represents therapist’s interests and needs in the Ketamine space.
